The new generation of heat pumps
Reliable, compact, and efficient—Viessmann’s innovative heat pump technology allows environmental heat to be used particularly efficiently for heating and cooling. With a flow temperature of up to 70 °C, the Vitocal 150-A Hybrid was developed specifically for modernization projects. Existing radiators can continue to be used. Underfloor heating is not essential. High energy efficiency, convenient app operation, and attractive design are impressive features.
Advantageous combination for existing heating systems
The Vitocal 150-A Hybrid model is particularly suitable for supplementing an existing heating system. In this case, the heat pump provides the base load. The boiler is only switched on when temperatures are particularly low.

The heat pumps feature the patented Hydro AutoControl® hydraulic system. This ensures reliable and highly efficient operation throughout the entire service life. Thanks to OptiPerform, installation saves time and money. And the space required is up to 60% less than for conventional systems.

Eco Select – Switch between the most cost-effective or most sustainable operating mode
Viessmann hybrid devices operate with Hybrid Pro Control. The integrated energy manager regulates the heating system according to both the general conditions, such as the outside temperature or flow temperature, and individual settings: these can include energy prices, the amount of electricity generated by the user, CO2 emissions, or heat demand. For example, you can choose whether the unit automatically uses the currently cheapest energy source in economy mode or whether it runs in eco mode with the lowest CO2 emissions per kilowatt hour of heat energy generated.
