Decentralised, Quiet, Energy-Efficient, Heat Recovery & Demand Controlled Ventilation
Ideal Clima offers decentralized, quiet, energy-efficient, and demand-controlled ventilation systems. These systems deliver pristine and hygienic air to living spaces, surpassing standards and simultaneously conserving energy in daily use.
The advanced energy-efficient Heat Recovery systems from Ideal Clima aim to enhance indoor air quality while preventing the accumulation of moisture and the growth of mold.
Our ventilation systems not only result in significant savings in heating costs but also come with low acquisition and operating expenses. The quality and safety synonymous with our reputation are assured. We recommend the installation of ventilation systems in every new construction and energy retrofit project. The compelling reduction in indoor air pollution levels serves as a strong incentive to invest in our intelligent ventilation solutions.
KERS decentralized single-room heat recovery units offer a targeted solution for dampness, humidity, and condensation at a local level, all while ensuring automatic and adequate ventilation. These units can recover up to 90% of heat that would typically be lost when employing traditional extractor fans.
How to stop condensation and save your cost
Does your home or property suffer from condensation, mildew, or black mould? Do some rooms, especially bedrooms, smell musty or damp? As homes become increasingly airtight, controlled ventilation is needed to provide a healthy safe and energy efficient living space. A highly efficient fan combined with a hexagonal cell recuperative heat exchanger provides ventilation with highly efficient heat recovery. Up to 97% of the energy used to heat your room can be recovered using the Kers unit.
The unit has built in humidity control to remove the conditions for black mould growth. The built in ambient noise reduction reduces street noise in urban situations. Kers units provide ventilation without the need to open windows giving the added benefit of increased security. Kers units can be networked to provide a whole house ventilation solution with minimal disruption during installation.
Ventilation is the key to condensation problems. Unfortunately, just leaving a window open doesn’t allow enough ventilation into your home. Our Ventilation Systems will provide solutions to condensation, mildew, and poor air quality problems in both new and existing properties. KERS Ventilations systems are designed for both private houses and apartments or flats where homeowners experience the many symptoms of poor ventilation.
Heat recovery unit for single room
just a simple through hole on a perimeter wall
Single Room Heat Recovery is a through-the-wall ventilation unit designed for a one-room installation, such as a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom. KERS is the easiest way to deploy a ventilation system in an existing building. A combination of the hexagonal-cell ceramic core and inverter fan motors ensure record-setting performance. Further to that, humidity activated ventilation and remote control are supplied as standard. KERS.25 is suitable for heat recovery ventilation of rooms up to 10 sqm for each device. KERS.50 for rooms up to 20 sqm. To ventilate rooms bigger than this, more than one device can be installed.
- KERS units are designed to perform the following functions in each individual room:
- Supply fresh air, taken from outside the building, with a flow rate of up to 50 m³ / h of fresh air
- Recover over 90% (Kers 25) and up to 97% (Kers 50) of the heat from the stale air extracted from the rooms to heat (in winter) and cool (in summer) the new air, before introducing it into the room , with significant energy savings.
- Filter the air that comes from outside and that extracted from the premises.
The units have been designed for use in residential buildings, and in particular to ventilate rooms for which it is not considered useful to install centralized systems. They can be installed through the walls and are therefore particularly suitable for the recovery and partial renovation of rooms where molds form due to insufficient ventilation.
The maximum air flow rate of each unit is 23 or 50 m³ / h, depending on the model. As they operate for 50% of the time in extraction and 50% in intake, the exchange flow rate is reduced respectively by 11.5 m³ / h and 25 m³ / h. The KERS recuperators provide sufficient air exchange for rooms with floor areas of 9 m2 or 20 m2, depending on the model (with air changes of 0.5 vol / h and internal height of 2.7 m).
Easy Installation
KERS can be installed virtually anywhere, it’s enough to drill a hole through the wall. (Hole diameter 160 mm for KERS 50, 110 for KERS25), wire it to power mains, and the product is ready to be used. The improved design of the indoor panel make it blend with the indoor decor. As an optional, flexible grilles are available in white or copper finishing. They ensure a complete indoor installation of KERS without any outdoor scaffolding.
The KERS series consists of devices for mechanical dual-flow ventilation, with heat recovery, to be installed in a special hole in the wall. The good performance appliances are designed to provide the single room with the necessary air renewal flow rate, to recover the heat from the exhausted air and transfer it to the air introduced into the room.
Each unit is equipped with:
- Plastic duct adaptable to the sectionable and soundproofed wall
- Suction and emission grilles
- Energy-saving EC fans with speed regulation
- Ceramic heat exchanger, with efficiency up to 97% (Kers 50) and up to 90% (Kers 25) and equipped with antibacterial treatment.
- Filters installed on both sides of the exchanger, to clean the intake air and protect the G3 class exchanger, optional F7.
- Remote control that allows you to adjust the air flow without ducting for wires
All units, compliant with European directives, are provided with CE marking (TUV) and relative certificate of conformity.
